My love for cooking and serving food began at a very young age.  I was always hanging around the kitchen waiting for my chance to do any job preparing food.  When I was a teenager I would have my friends over for dinners that I had spent the day preparing.  We sat around my kitchen table that I had set beautifully with my grandmother's china and enjoyed the food and friendship.  I graduated high school and was faced with a big decision....college or culinary school!  I took the path to college and became a teacher.  I have often thought about the path I didn't travel and I am taking this early exit from my teaching career to spend my days doing what I love most...baking sourdough bread with love and care....from my oven to your hands.
